וַנֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־אֲדֹנִ֔י לֹא־יוּכַ֥ל הַנַּ֖עַר לַעֲזֹ֣ב אֶת־אָבִ֑יו וְעָזַ֥ב אֶת־אָבִ֖יו וָמֵֽת׃
Dicemmo allora al signore: Il giovinetto non può abbandonare suo padre; e s’egli abbandonasse suo padre, questi ne morrebbe.
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
But we told my lord, The youth cannot leave his father: for if he leave his father, he will die.
